Key Stage 2 results

In Key Stage 2, 93% of students achieved the expected standard in Mathematics and 90% in Reading, well above the national average.

The teachers’ dedication to providing tailored support has been crucial in helping pupils exceed expectations.

This is especially true in English and Mathematics, where 78% of pupils met or surpassed the expected standards in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics combined.

GCSE results

At the GCSE level, 75% of entries achieved Grade 4 or above, and 64% achieved Grade 5 or above, consistently outperforming the national average.

These results are a credit to all of pupils, with 79% achieving Grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics.

Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, and English all performed well above the national average at both GCSE and A-level.

A-level results

At A-level, 98% of entries achieved a pass, with 70% of all A-level results at grade A* to C.

This ensured that many students gained entry to their first-choice universities, including top institutions across the country.

These outcomes are a testament to the pupils' hard work and the high-quality teaching and guidance they receive.

The Religious Studies department also recently underwent an inspection and received an 'Outstanding' rating in its last Ofsted inspection in 2023.

Inspectors praised the department for its ability to engage pupils in deep, reflective discussions on religious, moral, and ethical issues.

This success aligns with the school's ethos of promoting SHARE values alongside academic achievement, ensuring pupils develop critical thinking and empathy.
