According to Inshorts “ Sikhism to be included in school curriculum at Washington DC
Schools in Washington DC would now teach students about the Sikh community as District of Columbia State Board of Education included Sikhism in its social studies curriculum. This makes Washington DC the 18th state in US to provide knowledge about Sikhs in schools. The Sikh Coalition Education Director, Harman Singh, praised the decision, stating it'll help combat bigotry and bullying.
