Vaisakhi, a signature event in the Sikh calendar, commemorates the birth of the Khalsa Panth (the Commonwealth of Sikhs).
The event, organised by the Singapore Khalsa Association, saw members of the public treated to various performances.
Acting Minister for Manpower and Senior Minister of State for National Development, Tan Chuan-Jin, also joined in the celebrations. "
